I purchased a DVO Topaz from JensonUSA about two weeks ago. I have a 2016 Santa Cruz Hightower, 27.5+, Large. I am 240lbs without gear and about 250 with gear. I currently have it setup with 270psi in the main chamber, 200psi in the bladder, 3 volume spacers on the positive air side, and two on the negative, with the rebound 2 clicks out from full in. I used this as a baseline to get 30% sag for my weight. Without the spacers I was near 290psi. The ride seems effective for pedaling, even in the open setting, but a bit too stiff on small to medium bumps. How many volume spacers on the positive and negative side do you recommend?

Hey Jason, try removing 1-2 spacers from the positive side. At that high air pressure the shock is going to be very progressive on it’s own. The spacers in the negative chamber will assist you with pedaling efficiency but it will decrease the amount small bump sensitivity. I would recommend running 1 spacer in the positive and 0-1 spacer in the negative side. Run the bladder at 200psi as well. Hope this helps!
